This photo is the result of a chance encounter whilst driving around Dorset at sunset in the spring of 2024. Driving down a country lane I spotted a group of Red Deer in an adjacent field with the sun positioned perfectly behind them. I pulled over, snuck as close as I could to the group without disturbing them, snapped a few shots and this was the result.
